sick from subs

I was taking subutex for 3 days then switched to suboxone-doctors orders.  I was drowsy on the subutex but the suboxone makes me sick to my stomach, throw up, headache.  Not taking that much 2.5 mg day or 5.  I don't think I need a higher dose as other than body leg aches not doing to bad.  I think it is the suboxone since I get sick soon after taking it.  I don't eat a lot before taking it as my appetite is low. Is that the problem? Asking the doc for subutex instead but he seems to prefer the other drug.  Help as I don't want to go back to vicodin.

subutex and suboxone are the SAME drug, buprenorphine, only difference is suboxone has naloxone in it to prevent abuse....most all doctors stick with suboxone after induction with subutex...its supposed to be easier to start induction with subutex, but i never took it, i just went right to suboxone...i didnt want anything i could eventually abuse if i wanted to...

Maybe give your body time to get adjusted. When I first started on Subutex, I was queazy and had a headache for 2 days, but then it all went away.  I was discouraged on day 1,2, and 3 because I felt weird, but on day 4 I felt great. I have been  onit for several months now.  I hope you will feel better soon.
