suboxine in Chicago

I lived in Chicago and I am looking for a clinic or Doctor that prescribes suboxine.  I don't have insurance and am trying to find a place that is not very expensive.  I called one place and they wanted $3000 for the treatment and said the pills would be an additional $750.  They said the treatment lasts 6 weeks.  I have read a lot about this and have sen some posts that said they were OK within a couple of weeks.  I take 6 750's a day or if I have the 10/325's I will take 8 to 10 of them.  I try to stay under the 4000 mg of tylenol in order to protect my liver.  I have occassionally gone over but not often.  If  anyone has a doctor that does not charge a large upfront fee I would really like to hear from you.  I work so I am not on public assistance so I don't qualify for any government programs.  I appreciate any support I can get.  I have been using for about 2 years and would really like to stop. When I have gone off the meds in the past I get really bad withdrawal and can't afford to take off of work.  I will have time off in June but don't want to wait that long to quit.  Thank you in advance for any help you can provide this addict.

Look up Adapt Research in your phone book.  That is what i went through and it was all free.  They are doing a nationwide study.  I would think for sure there would be an office in Chicago.  Good luck.

I live in Morris, IL, about 60 miles SW of Chicago.  There is a certified Dr. in town that can prescribe suboxone.  I know there aren't a lot in the area, but if you can't find anyone in Chicago know that there is one about an hour's drive away straight down the Stevenson to route 80.

Oh my goodness. Those prices are outrageous. I live i PA. Pay $100.00/month for my appt and 30.00 co-pay for the Subs. Please go to  to www.naabt.org. They have a link to all doctors in the US that can prescribe Subs.  You can get on a list and a doctor will contact you.  good luck.
