Hi. I was on for about two years...tapered off to just a fraction of a mg. every other day, then went totally off. I'm currently about a week off and it has been no picnic. I'm sorry to inform you but the withdrawal from Suboxone is a long and tough ordeal. I read some really good comments. I believe you will find the comment stream under posts and suboxone withdrawal. I would definitely try and find a doctor that has some experience with this. There are some supplements that help and there are prescriptions that can mitigate some of the w/d symptoms. If you work, it will probably be in your best interest to get a week off. sorry for the bad news, but fore warned is fore armed. Good luck!

Its not something you want to do overnight. It depends how much you are on and were you on the sub for five years? It should be a slow process to minimize the with drawl.
Good Luck
