suboxone

Hi, I was on here the outher nite, and received good advice. So ithought i would try again. Long story short, I have had this addition since i was 15, iam now 50, long time huh? Any way iam now on suboxone and i think its the best thing since peanutbutter! But now i need help paying for it because we cant afford it. See iam with ahealth care plan called Magellan and they are really against it, NOW I HAVE READ JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING THERE IS FROM START TO FINISH.And iknow its working because i havnt wanted a vicodin for over a month, and before, when i went through the withdraws, the first thing i thought about was getting somthing to take the aches and pains away, but not this time and iam so greatful for it. So my qestion is how do any of you feel about this drug? thanks for reading

Iam trying to get it paid for by a Dr. who is with Majellen, see I had to get an advacate to be on my side and he is! YEA! So now he is gonna call me back and he is going to set up a meeting with the clinical team Iam withwho by the way is fighting me full force not to pay for the Dr. visit or the medication which is costing me $500.00 dollars! Soif this works, you guys will be able to try and qualify for Majellen and get a Dr. That is quaified to give the med. And be with you clear up to the time you tapper off for FREE! I will stay on this forum if any one is interested. This drug is so new that things are just now beginning to start moving, and Iam gonna fight till we get it! Besides, there the ones that got us hooked in the first place by giving us 90 to 120 at a time! thanks susie 15.

I have been on it for little over six weeks and I thank God for it so far I'm now on 2mg since yesterday I'm tapering down (witch me luck)lol, but really I have to agree with allaboutmary some people spend more when they are on the vicodins I don't know what your supply was on them but I know the doctors only give so many of them and us addicts always have have 3 to 4 times more, well that was MY case I'm NOT saying EVERYBODY is the same but MY story sounds like that. In my case I was spending around 200.0 to 300. on top of my regular presc. 5.00 copay I so lucky that suboxone is covered by my insurance I only pay 15.00 for 120 2mg tabs, but I undestand that we don't all have the same coverage. Please cut down on other things if you have to but not your health is really important that if you already made the decision of been on sub you stay untill your doctor tells you or you feel you have to. Sorry

I am on sub also and think its great.  As far as the cost....I spend a lot less on the sub then I did buying pain pills.  I found that the pharmacies vary greatley in price and it pays to call around.

I am on it been on it for a little over 10 days and I agree with you great drug, but can't afford it. Well it and the dr visits my insurance doesn't cover any of it. I wish there was some kinda of support for paying but none I've heard of as yet. Glad you are doing so well!
