subutex and valium interaction on failed detox

I just did 9 days off burnofine after 8yrs on it ....i got down from 12mg to 3 mg and they stopped it dead and gave me brtlafex for symtoms ....i was fine for 6 days untill the brtlefex stopped and my blood pressure and pwds set in .
I coped for 3 days and caved
I feel the the opiate and benzo (also 8 yrs) was keeping me on an even but crappy level , i did a degree and have been lapsing periodically on crack ,,,but not for long

anyway when the subutex stopped the anxiety and psuedo benzo withdrawals started or so i think .....i couldnt sleep and didnt want to go out or socialise at all .....

Ive come off meds a few times with disasterous results as far as withdrawals ....they took me off 40mg of valium and 40 mg of methadone in two weeks ....then sent me to rehab in bits , which I absconded from and went back after amonth of horrors

thats was 8 yrs ago and I'm still stuck , messed up my detox (very badly supported) - my valium works when im on subutex it seems ....and when im not , ive got to face valium problems as well as the subutex aftershock ....i feel ive let myself down at 40 and still messing up

Im sorry your in such a crappy situation at 40, but theres hope. Im 44 and only seriously came off last year when i found this site. But messed up after over 200 days clean. I tried britlafex before they were ok but caused blood pressure problems for me. Why did you only have 6 days worth, it shouldve peaked at 6 days then started decreasing in dosage. Thats probably why you relapsed. Our rehabs are badly supported your right. Half the time theyr getting drugs smuggled in anyway. What are you on just now. I get 60mg a day of valium but i dont really take as much as that, i only take them really if im having bad cravings or when iv relapsed and suffering w/ds. Benzos are a nightmare, thats why i dont really take them. I had a seriously bad time coming off them. Why do they keep taking you off the subutex How long do they keep you on it before you come off them coz its obvioulsy not long enough, i know someone whos been taking them for about 3 years now and he just cant get off the last little bit, about 1mg, i think he maybe breaks it up, but the dr is happy to let him take that as long as it keeps him off the opites. It seems as if yur not on them long enough to really give you a chance, and taking you off 40mg of valium and methadone in 2 weeks is far to quick no wonder you relapsed. Ill help in any way i can as i know about these drugs and we are in the same country virtually so i know the way our drs work and all about your meds.
