trammies

Im new here. I have been on tramadol for a few years now. Taking 150mils a day. I know its not much compared to others, but I am having a hard time. I gave the bottle to a friend and he gives me 3 halves a day. One am one afternoon and one pm. I don't have a doctor. I get them from mexico. I don't know if I'm doing this correctly. My life is upside down and loosing friends. Not sleeping. shallow breath. I am going through depression because my boyfriend left me(not drug related) he rjected me and is moving away so this is a rough time to be detoxing. Any suggestions?
thx

Trams are horrible.  Synthetic opiate.  I would suggest getting off of them.  You wont feel good for a few days, but, you will in a few weeks like me.  You will be amazed at how different and good you feel without them.  I did not think I would be able to function, but, I am better, in so many ways.  Please stop.  You can do it.  I will help.  Send me a personal message if you want.  Any time.

Tramadol really sucks. It is a "non narcotic" so you think everything is gonna be fine.........and then it's got you.

If you have 2 weeks you can break the cycle.

Be strong!!!!!

Keep checking this forum even if only lurking. These people will get you thru it.

Sounds rough...it is a lot to be going through.  I am also new here, not as involved as some members, but I can tell you that this place has some wonderful, caring, knowledgeable people.

Detoxing in itself is a lot to endure, but to add your emotional pain to it...it must be terrible.  Just hang in there...time will help.  For whatever reason, this is how things are meant to be right now - at least that is how I believe.  Stay strong, the support here fills a void.  Just think, a few days from now you will have a fresh new outlook on life, you will be free of the pills, and things will work themselves out.  You are taking the necessary steps to resolve things...keep your head up & try to think positive.

Oh also...vitamins (magnesium, calcium, zinc, multi-vit., amino acids) bathe in epsom salt, drink lots of water, fresh fruits/veg.

Talk w ya soon!

In love & light -
