Count yourself lucky and never look back. These meds are evil and should never be used long term. This time may have been a breeze, but it will only get worse if you continue to use. Try to do some soul searching and figure out why you were using. Every person that uses these drugs this way has a psychological reason (often hidden). Find it and take care of your mind, body, and soul. You are worth It! Best luck to you...

I would Thank God and stop I am on day 18 and still don't feel great.  These meds are no joke, and I was taking them legitimately for pain. Trust me stop now your c/t episodes will get worse. Congratulations on stopping and Good Luck:)

Hi twostrands, I was taking opioids at the beginning for recreation too, just to relax after getting home from a very stressful job. I would run out, sleep for a day and it was over. Went back to work fine and dandy on Mon. But please stop now. I know how good they make you feel, but if you get into them too long, you will have a full blown addiction and that my friend is no fun at all. Just telling you what happened to me.
