Reducing Hydrocortisone and breast soreness

I am in the process of weaning on hydrocortisone after 4 years of SAI and have made it down to 17.5mg per day but when I rescued to this 17.5 mg my breasts became sore.  I've been on 17.5mg per day for 6 days now......feet are sore but I'm doing better than expected.

I take a T4/T3 combo and it works out great with me...

I added Synthroid and taking it with Armour now and feel fabulous on 17.5mg per day of HC but will continue to wean down and try to get out from under this HPA suppression caused from taking prednisone.  My feet and ligaments are normal again....first time in 4 years and my doc said the breast tenderness is from prolactin being activated by low thyroid levels.  Thyroid levels drop as cortisol drops.

Your dose now, I think, is now a normal to low. So going lower will just put you in the place where you have little reserve.

I will have to look again. I am sick so just trying to respond a little but not really doing great.

Yea, I'm a hormonal mess!  I'm weaning to see how far I can go.  Naturally the goal is to wean completely but I may not get there.  I've read that the pit is signaling the ovaries to produce oestrogen when the breasts and nipples get sore which would be wonderful!  It would mean my pit is working!!???  My feet are burning tonight like they used to burn before taking HC and thyroid meds.

Are you trying to wean down, or off?

Joint and muscles are expected as the anti-inflammatory actions go away, you can hurt all over. I know when I change meds, it can mess with my overall hormonal *profile* for lack of better word, and my other levels can go wonky. I just got my thyroid levels down, and my breasts are killing me.
