How's everything going? Are you feeling better?
Thank you so much this is like a bad dream! I just keep getting worse and they keep running test but nothing makes you feel like your going to die before they fix it.
They also tested my b levels and the general blood work and everything was normal but it made a huge difference. My B vitamins 12.5 mg my magnesium is 250 mg and my CoQ-10 is 200 mg. When I couldn't eat ensure, soup , salmon and bread meat cheese sandwhiches were the easiest to get down. My neuro recommended because she believed it would help my mental health because I was crying everyday also but it's amazing it took away most of my symptoms! Please try these until you find out what's going on and can see your doctor again. Trust your not alone and will get through this!
My endo couldn't get me in for 6 weeks so I saw her partner. She's running test now for adrenal glands. But I don't think that's it. I asked her about magnesium test because I take nexium and it can cause u to drop Low she said ok but I don't think that's it. At first she thought it was low vit d and calcium but test came back in normal range. I wish I could sleep and eat I'm so weak because I can't sleep and can't eat. Now I'm at the point I just cry all the time I can't take it anymore. Makes you crazy . Does it matter how much u need to take of those vit. Were your levels low or was it just a thought from the neuro
It was a blessing to come across my neurologist. I had those symptoms bad and my sleep was getting worse. I was sleeping in 3 hours intervals waking up to eat! The first night I took the vitamins I slept through the night and my anxiety practically went away! You might have to also fish around for different doctors some aren't attention or willing to run different important test to rule things out!
What about seeing a different endo?
Thank you. I've been so sick for 7 weeks had my thyroid out 6 years ago because of these symptoms now there all back and the dr don't get it I sleep 4-5 hrs a night can't eat short of breath chest pain anxiety I shake etc. I just don't know what to do. I'll try vit :-)
No I never did. I went to two primaries, neurologist, and endocrinologist. I did however after 3-4 months in and out the er make an improvement when my neurologist recommended vitamins. Since then the symptoms slowly went away. It was co-q 10 , magnesium, b2 b6 b 12. I started taking zinc for my eye sight and I also drink ensure because I had a hard time eating when I was going through it. But those vitamins made a huge difference. They concluded anxiety, which I don't believed caused it. I believe I just wore myself down and my body was falling apart.
I have the same symptoms did you ever figure out what was wrong with you
It may be several - you cannot be diagnosed on the internet. Your PCP has to run basics, but once you cannot figure out that, then perhaps the doc then has to move you on over to other docs to go on for more extensive testing. But that is up to your doctor.
Which specialist would I go to? ...my primary wont refer me to a endocrinologist.
You may need more than routine testing. You may have an auto-immune issue, a hormonal issue or autonomic issue - but you need a doctor to rule things in and out.
Yes, everything look fine... also with chest x-ray.
AI is a salt wasting disease - so if your doc ran electrolytes and they were normal it ruled out adrenals (at least the cortisol and renin/aldosterone issues).
The other symptoms could be so many other things it is so hard to say. Have you seen a cardiologist?
