am I see a doc who uses 'snake oil'?

I have been hypothyroid for 40 years with no problems- I was kept a bit 'hyper' and did well.  The last few years not so.  Extreme fatigue, brain fog, gain belly weight.
Now- I went to a local 'wellnes chiropractor' who did stool/saliva tests.
Cortisol 10, 17, 2, 3 as the day progressed.
Thyroid all normal- no anti.
FBS 93 (that was a 6 hr fast- they are usually 70-73. ) I have been hypoglyciemic many times.
DHEA 2 Shows Maladaptive Phase II
SIgA 11 (shows depressed)

All my other bloodwork that she wished to have done- liver/kidney/blood was normal.

She says I am 'on the brink of becoming diabetic'
My adrenals are 'exhausted'
I am gluten intolerant.

Please- what do those of you who have gone through this think?

Thank you

Uh... I have not gone through that, but in reading your symptoms, I can tell you that if you have central weight gain and becoming diabetic, that is the adrenals too active - aka Cushing's syndrome. Elevated cortisol effects the thyroid and can make things go wacky,  cause fatigue and the brain fog.

I would find testing for Cushing's and forget the snake stuff.

I forgot to add my  cortisol load was right in the middle- 33.  If that is midline, not indicitive of catabolic OR deterioration, then why is doc so upset that the 11am spike of 17 was so terrible, if the total load was wnl?
Thanks
