Undiagnosed - Wakeups and Thirst at night

Hello everyone,

Since physical inactivity's and stress in late 2007, I have experienced the following symptoms as yet undiagnosed by numerous doctors:

wake ups in the middle of the night, with increased heart beat and thirst
pressure inside skull
side pains near bottom of rib cage, and lower back.
joint pains - hip
limbs become easily numb

I vividly recall one event as I was sitting on a computer chair, I can feel "fluids" leak on one side of the torso, then I felt extremely fatigued.

Is it possible damages could have occurred to the adrenalin glands?  Could diabetes result from such implications?

If it is a disease, what could it be?  Thanks in advance for your time...

I shrink will not be able to cure your back ache :)

If you suspect adrenal fatigue, a simple saliva test can tell you what's going on. You can order to tests yourself online and have them done and read by a lab tech.

I think this is a better approach to ruling out adrenal fatigue then jumping into a psych treatment for God knows.. how long.

If you do need mental support then take the treatment - but you can rule out adrenal fatigue on your own if you doctor denies you a test - Which I feel is reduclious.

So I was leaning toward Adrenal Fatigue.  Saw a MD today, who refused my request for a cortisol test.  Instead he is referring me to Physiatry.  I suppose he thinks I need a Psychologist to sort me out of my year long nocturnal awakenings... since none of the beta blockers have been able to do their job.

Oh well, at least the little wine I have 3 hours before each night's sleep worked better than any medications so far.
