eye lightning

I have a clear floater in my left eye.  If it is dark, I see streaks of light, like lightning, back toward my shoulder.  What is the problem?

I would go see an eye doctor immediately. It could be a detached retina.

I get what I call "flashies" when my cortisol is low (I have no adrenals--had them removed due to cushing's).  They look like sparks with streaks of light in my peripheral vision.  6ut lots of eye conditions can cause these symptoms too, so an opthamologist is pro6a6ly your 6est 6et.

Cataracts. Get your eyes checked and rule it out.
