Food allergies and weight loss

I had allergy testing a couple of weeks ago and the test determined I am allergic to beef, cows milk, and nuts. Since I have taken these items out of my diet I have had a major drop in my weight. My question is, is this normal, and will my weight level out after awhile?

My big question is, what are substitues for the foods I can not eat? Is there any kind of drink like Ensure that does not contain dairy? I have had my gall bladder removed and also suffer from IBS so on top of the food allergies I have to watch the foods I intake very carefully and now I am running out of options.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

If you have been consuming these regularly, then you could attribute your weight loss to this avoidance of foods. You should try substituting other dietary substances to compensate for this loss. Try to take a balanced diet.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
