Help for itching

I have discovered that for an intense itch, caused by mosquito, flea, fire ant or chigger bites, ACNE CREAM (10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE) is amazing - it immediately releaves the itch, the swelling, the burning from all sorts of bites.  Question - is it harmful to use this for this purpose?

Hmm I dont know if it is harmful, I would assume it is not if you have not had a reaction to it.  You might go see a doctor to check to see what it is that you are suffering from.  A steroid shot might help ease the itching and he may prescribe a prescription topical cream that is better than the over the counter medications.   Hope this helps.  Please get checked out to make sure that this is not something more serious.

It provides immediate relief for such insect bites, however you might need to continuously reapply it as the anti allergy properties wear out.
Take care.
