High (expecially excessively high like yours) IgE can have NON-allergic causes. Your doctor needs to look into causes other than allergies. You may need to do a lot of research yourself to find things for your doctor to look into. Remember that you and your doctor are a team. You both have to bring things to the table to find the answers that you need. Going to a teaching hospital may be a good idea.
All standard allergy tests wererun; none of the standard triggers were identified as possible causes for the off the chart IgE (1056) level!
There are other things that cause high IgE. Your doctor should start investigating these other options.
There is much debate on whether fragrances are allergens. Research is being done to determine if they are allergens or just irritants.
God bless.
