Periodic Hand Rash same place

For about 7 years now I get a rash with around 8-15in the palm of my left hand and on the palm side of my ring finger in the middle section about 2 days after any REALLY stressful week, or if I go out drinking with my friends and, drink more than I probably should (usually we get together on fairly rare occassions maybe once every 2-3 weeks and carry on).   When it first started, I only used to get this rash when I wore my golf glove, NOT as an effect of going out drinking with my friends and not after a stressful week.

Anyways, I know I probably shouldn't, but once I get them, which I have em right now, I pop them, and they go away after a few days.  They aren't painful and only itch if I don't pop them.

1) Is this an allergy?  I also have a pretty bad nickle allergy, tape my belt buckles and pant snaps/grommets etc
2) An immune system issue?
3) A potential edzema (sp)?
4) Sign of a different disease?

Also if you have any other insight, please do tell.
Thanks,

I have the same problem and have tried many things until I found one that worked.  I believe the rash is a form of athlete's foot and I have been treating it after it happens with Domo Boro powder found at most drug stores by soaking my hand in water treated with the powder per instructions.  Then I tried something and it worked.  I took a golf glove (used before) and first soaked it in rubbing alcohol to kill any fungus that might have been in it.  Then, I mixed the Domo Boro solution and poured it into the glove and soaked the glove for about an hour then let it dry.  It was stiff, but easily became pliable after working it.  That stopped the rash.  Now, I carry a spray bottle of the solution of Domo Boro and water and spray my glove hand a couple of times during the round.  No more problem!

Thanks.  I think it is probably time to go see a dermatologist....it happenned so infrequently I just thought it was an occassional allergy, but now that it's worse, I tend to have an unsightly palm for a week afterwards.

Could I have acquired an allergy to alcohol?

Why do you think it has changed it's flare up event from wearing my golf glove to me going out and having drinks?  I don't even hold my drink with my left hand.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

There are various possibilities for your symptoms. They include contact dermatitis[a skin reaction resulting from exposure to allergens (allergic contact dermatitis) or irritants (irritant contact dermatitis)],nummular dermatitis(a form of eczema),heat rash, erythema nodosum(an inflammation of the fat cells under the skin),Q fever(a disease caused by infection with Coxiella burnetii, a bacterium) or treponema infection or spirochetal infection.

I feel that an evaluation by a dermatologist will help in making a diagnosis as without
examination,diagnosis is tough.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.
