Please help me figure out what I have?

Over the last 6 + months I haven’t been feeling right and haven’t been feeling myself I am normally a very energetic person, very bubbly on the go, I want to do things and can’t sit still but I think ever since I had my ankle operation and did my recovery and rehabilitation I haven’t been myself. My friends who know me best have noticed and so has Luke and he knows me inside and out and has started saying he thinks something is wrong and he is confirming my concerns, he told me to write down a list of how I have been feeling so I have and here it is:

I am constantly getting my allergic rash all over my body lately but I am very very careful with what I eat and I got another attack but didn’t have anything that would set it off but then also I get cravings for foods I don’t normally want, but then I get waves of nausea and diarrhoea and waves of not wanting to eat anything for days.

I am so extremely fatigued, I’m so tired and lethargic and it really isn’t like me I am bubbly and energetic and full of life and I haven’t felt like that in ages, I go to sleep but I never feel refreshed after waking up and I know something is wrong and its more than just sleep apnea and Luke and I are now worried.

I am getting lots and lots of muscle pain and weakness all over my body in my legs in my hands in my feet. I am mentally, emotionally and physically tired and just exhausted of being like this and if you ask anyone I was a very energetic person I could walk around the city all day and still have energy to do it again. I have noticed a sore throat that keeps recurring and my eyes sometimes becoming blurry and then other times being dry and I can’t stop rubbing them.

I have gotten headaches and migraines increased in the last 6 months and they are more severe then I have ever had and a lot more frequent, which I think has affected my concentration level and memory skills I normally have an amazingly great memory and I am forgetting things I really shouldn’t, like I know everyone’s numbers in my family and I am forgetting them and other things that are little but I know it’s not like me to forget things like that.

I am having terrible trouble with my concentration and I can hardly focus at all, and that is something I have never had trouble with, I have been told I sometimes space out where as other times I just don’t feel right. I have noticed that I am sometimes so quick and alert and other times I am useless and it’s like I am not using my brain at all or it’s on holidays.

I have been having chest pains and shortness of breath and I use my puffer but it doesn’t help at all and I am having more dizzy spells. And as you know I am depressed and my partner has noticed I have become more and more anxious and having panic attacks and very weird mood swings and my partner calms me down but I have detected he has been saying are you ok? And that he is worried about me? more often and it is increasing.

Are you on any medications?  If so, are these new medications or have there been increases in dosage on meds you've been on?

some of your symptoms sound like they COULD be related to either fibromyalgia or possibly lupus or sjogren's.  You may want to consider getting a consult with a rheumatologist to see what's going on.

Is there any chance you are pregnant?  Pregnancy could cause some of the symptoms you're experiencing.

Hello,
I read your post very carefully and I must say I was suprised that my name was not signed, instead of yours....I also agree with the assessments made by others and do think the community comes together as we do, to help others.....NOW, this was my "TRIGGER" for all those things that you mentioned, and I must say...That list could just be the beginning, so yes...let's stop it here....I had a natural gas leak in my home for 3 1/2 years..(42 months) and yes I smelled it periodically, and I called the company every time I smelled it and they would come out and find NOTHING....I think they thought I was not having a good smeller...Now the drs during this time was applying the same theory as the gas co although in the drs cases they just thought I was nuts or a hyprocondract....Now since this all started 14 years ago I have noticed that other "THINGS" will trigger the body to revert back to the ILL stage....Things such as     "MOLD"...
Now...Think back to prior to not feeling well or right....6-9 months at least.....PRIOR...Had you moved, been in a flood situation for even just a day, live down wind from a chemical factory, had any exposure to pesticides or maybe down wind of a MAJOR FIRE AREA?  After refreshing my memory of your post....I THINK whatever is effecting you is IN YOUR HOME and or right outside your door...If you want you may contact me backstage for a more detailed talk...Yes...Let's Figure this out..Have a wonderful Blessed Day!!!!    GOD BLESS!!!!      loimmarmar

Hi,

Lupus could be an option. But Diabetes Mellitus and Hypothyroidism could also cause the symptoms described by you. A simple blood test could help detect diabetes and hypothyroidism. Also, a sleep study can help diagnose sleep disorders. Consult your primary care physician for these tests. Warm regards.

No I'm not pregnant and no chance of that, I have had same medication for past 9 months but these symptoms happened before that and haven't gotten better or worse,  Yeah I have been told about chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, scary thing is my mum has lupus and so does my grandmother but yeah not sure it's that but haven't heard of sjogren's. But will look it up and will consult doctor about rheumatologist

Thanks

Hello,

Problems related to sleeping disorders, metabolic disorders, cardiac or allergic disorders can produce symptoms of sleep problems, rash, chest pain and shortness of breath. Sleeping disorders like obstructive sleep apnea can produce inadequate sleep, trouble breathing, sweating and headaches. Metabolic disorders like diabetes can cause these symptoms. So for proper evaluation you will need to consult your primary care physician who will examine you and may ask for some blood tests and an EKG to initiate appropriate therapy. Warm regards.
