Oh, gargling with warm salt water may help get rid of them.  Sometimes mine have disappeared over night.

Take care and let us know what the doctor says.

Hello and welcome to the community.

I get those ocassionally as well.  I believe they are called tonsiliths. However, sometimes I have the spots and a bad sore throat and a massive (15000+ WBC) infection.

If it doen't go away soon, you should see your doctor for an acurate diagnosis and to rule out an infection.  I have learned to know the diffence, but it is just some thing I feel.

The are common in people with GERD and allergies.

I hope that helps you.
God bless.
