Why does my tongue itch after eating ice cream?

I noticed it a few nights ago. I was eating a cup of ice cream that I had gotten that night and after I finished, my tongue got rly itchy and I couldn’t really scratch it because it’s my tongue so I just scraped it with my tongue. It didn’t help too much and I ended up having to wait until it stopped itching. I’ve noticed a few times before that it’s itched but I always thought that maybe my mouth was just cold?? But I don’t think so that much anymore
