Hello,
For such cuts on the skin, keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful.
Taking oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. If the symptoms are severe then it will be best to consult a doctor.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
Hi and welcome to the forum.
First you need to make sure it doesn't get infected. So use your own urine as it is a very good disinfectant. It might sting and smell a bit but it works!
Drying is part of the healing process. You sure don't want open wounds on your arm.
You could apply honey, but it's a little messy and impractical, I would say.
A Tetanus shot may be needed, if you didn't get a vaccine in the last 5 years.
So if that is the case, get to a doctor, clinic or hospital soon!
As far as pain goes a natural pain killer is White Willow Bark ( aspirin is made from a synthetic form of this bark) and it works better than o.t.c. painkillers without the side effects.
Your local health food store should have it.
Arnica is the #1 homepathic remedy for wounds and injuries (for the pain and the wound)
but you would have to take it soon! 30C x4 daily sub-lingual 3-4 pellets 1h away from drink and food (water is o.k.)
Hope this helps.
Blessings
