thank goodness it doesn't last long. your body is telling to to rest. perhaps it has worked hard to get through winter and is slightly depleated. do you change your diet or take supplements at that time that could bring this on
good to hear i am not the only one! This happens to me too, once a year, sometimes once every two years. Ive been to a neurologist and several other doctors but they have not found anything wrong with me. Next stop is an ear, throat, and nose specialist, according to the er doctor i just saw today it could be stones in my nose inbetween my ears, hmmm. sounds weird but I need to figure out what is causing this. I will let you know what they say.
Sorry, I don't know why, mabee your blood pressure drops a bit and makes you dizzy, but when it happens only once a year, I know (try to explain this to the doctors, and they think you are crazy.) the only thing I could say, is try to see a doctor next time it happens, got the very first day, mabee they will be able to pinpoint the problem then. good luck.
Hi,
Dizziness in general can happen due to changes in blood pressure either high or low, vasovagal syncope, postural hypotension, inner ear infections, brain tumors etc. As, you are experiencing dizziness only once a year this could be related to infection or allergic reaction in the inner ear. But for confirmation you need to see a physician for complete evaluation for the above mentioned causes. Best.
