PLEASE HELP: WHAT DOES MY HUSBAND HAVE?

I will be clear as possible.

My husband Giuseppe has made a 180 turn in his life. First off, I went to Italy to go and see him from July 13th, 2013 to October 15th, 2013. Then he came for his PhD at UC Berkeley on December 7th, 2013 and we stayed for month in St. Louis before we moved out to San Francisco on January 6th, 2014 for our new life…Giuseppe had texted me a week before in late November he was going to come to St. Louis and told me he was getting fasciculation’s. I believe he was starting to get tired and sore very fast in May of last year. However, I will have you know, in this year much has happened and a lot has changed. I graduated from College in May, but I had to stay in Los Angeles from May to July 4th and then from there I went to Italy in July. Then in July to October I went to St. Louis to see my family and Giuseppe followed me in December. He was feeling weakness and things got worse. He saw a Neurologist in Italy, St. Louis and in San Francisco …they all were inconsistent with what they said. For example, the Neurologist in Italy said that he has nothing, the neurologist in St. Louis said that Giuseppe has vitamin deficiency and the neurologist in San Fran said that he has anxiety. Giuseppe feels like he still has something very very bad. Is this normal for someone to have anxiety for this long? I am worried because I am his wife and I am unable to do anything for him besides tell him everything is okay. He says he still feels fatigued, sore, and fascinations on his legs, some days it is just his right leg/foot. Some days, it is just his tongue. Now today it is May 2014 and things have still not changed with him. Things are still the same and nothing has changed

Well, we can safely assume that he doesn't have "nothing" or he wouldn't be complaining
Did the second neurologist treat the deficiencies and what effect/change happened if any?
What happened when the third neurologist treated him for anxiety?

What exact work up has been done for him?

Outwardly, what do you think?  Magnesium, potassium and Vitamin B jumps immediately to my mind but I'm not a doctor. When is the last time he has had a full blood panel? (CBC, CMP, Electrolytes etc?)

I believe the second neurologist did not treat the deficiencies because he is still in pain all over and no real change has happened. He is still twitching and his calves are very very tight, he is fatigued, and he is not exercising and when he does its on his bike (Very slow), or doing anything for his body (gaining a little weight in the stomach region)...also the tip of his tongue hurts him. this has been happening for 6 months-8 months. Also, he will not take the Valium because he thinks it is not anxiety...he says that he never has had anxiety before and this can not be it. so he is not taking any medication for it. besides peapure which is a natural vitamin or something and zantac for his stomach acid.
