a strange rash on arms, and neck

I'm still testing for ALS, so I don't know yet what my physical future might bring. At the very minute I have a rash that won't go away, and in fact it is spreading. What started out as a little itch is now a huge area. One on my neck, and the other on my arm. I thought it was a bite now looks like a red bumpy mess. It is itchy all the time I've been putting aloe, and hydracortizone, and others all to no results. This is the first time it has ever happened to me.

I do take alot of vitamins for the ALS symptoms like C's E's D's.  I didn't have the reaction in the start so why would I have it after awhile of taking the vit's?

Have you ever heard of such a thing before?

Thank you for your very fast response. I 'll take your advice and see a M.D.
I actually thought that if might be from internalizing my fears. However to see a doctor is the wiser coarse.

If the rash is itchy localizedto your neck and arm then the rash can be due to allergic dermatitis, eczema, scabies, contact dermatitis, shingles, psoriasis, fungal infection like or Tinea. If the rah is scaly, then it could be due to atopic or contact dermatitis, psoriasis or even eczema. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage without examining the rash. Please consult a skin specialist. Take care!
