my cat has a hairball and i think he's getting ready to die

I have no money for a vet, My cat has a hairball and he hasn't eatin or drank anything in about 30hrs or so, and his symptoms include: fatigue, weight loss, thinning hair ,depression, as well as a choking motion like he's trying to cough something up and i don't know what to do he's bare;y moving,and his breathing has slowed,everything is happening so fast and i think he may be getting ready to die!! Can you please help?

call the vets around you and some will be willing to work with you on an emergency tell them the direness of it and that it is an emergency tell them everything and explain your money situation. There are a few vets willing to help on a payment plan if you give them a check post dated different dates. We have one here where I live who does for some ppl. Some vets won't say but sometimes they have a program or know of somewhere you can take your animal if you don't have money. Don't hide your tears when you call either. Let them know how important your cat is to you! I would get on the phone now and call around.

Cat Lax works well for hair balls. Your cat needs to see your get ASAP or I am afraid you will loose him. After cats don't eat for a few days they tend to develop a "Fatty Liver" which fiurther compromises their health.

I tried the cat lax and nothings happening, but he has a lil blood slowly dripping from his mouth, he cant keep his toungue in his mouth and he can moew almost at all anymore, it's not my cat and i dont have a dollar to my name to take him otherwise i would take him to the vet in a heartbeat!......so do u think he has a chance 2 survive?
