How long do I need to wait to introduce my newly adopted 6 mo old kitten to my 2.5 year old cat? Kitten had URI, saw vet, 1/2 way through 10 day cse antibiotics (clavamox) . Kitten now mostly back to normal except for slight congestion (mostly in am), 1-2 sneezes/day. Thanks.
Kitten and cat are both current on vaccines. Both test negative for feline leuk and aids. I will do as you suggest. Thank you for the advice :)

Has the new kitten had all her vaccines? Has she been tested for feline leukemia and feline aids? If she has had the test and her vaccines and your older cat is all up to date I would wait until she has taken the antibiotic for 7 days.
