Can a cat take Primor?

My 3 year old spayed female had a bladder stone removed on Monday.  She's doing well.  Vet has her on 120mg of Primor daily.  He says he finds it is best for any secondary bacterial infection following surgery.  I could not find anything on the net regarding use in cats, everything says it's for dogs only.

This is a continuation of the above answer.  I posted too soon.

Since it is only approved for dog's it might be best to request another antibiotic from your vet, such as Clavamox.
