Cat won't eat

My cat has stopped eating. He has never been finicky and I feed him 3oz of moist Fancy Feast (noy with gravy type) cat food (or tuna, chicken, turkey) in the morning and evening. He slowly stopped eating and became lethargic and less social. He will sometimes follow me where food is kept but when it is offered he rejects it.
The vet did bloodwork, and IV (cefovecin sodium), and antibiotic injection (maropitan) - I may have names of IV fluid and antibiotic mixed up. He had a high temperature. Upon taking him home he did eat about 3-4 ounce of food over the next 24 hours but has stopped eating again.
He is now getting Zeniquin (antibiotic) and Mirtazapin (appetitie stimulant) but still no luck. I am currently taking tuna and water and blending it into a "smoothie" and giving him about 10ml orally through a syringe every 2-4 hours to keep him hydrated and getting nutrients. His belly is a little bloated. He has been urinating okay but his stools have stopped.

Unfortunately the diagnosis from sonogram came up cancer. He had two tumors and cancer in lymph nodes. Sadly I had to put him to sleep. I was really shocked at how fast the disease progressed. Without inetrvention in the form of IVs, antibiotics, and forced feeding he would have went from appearing and acting normal to passing in about a week.

Such a shame because he was an extremely well behaved and friendly cat.

I scheduled an appointment already as we wasn' improving much. He is eating a little turkey and cat food today and seems a little more alert. I plan on giving some more tuna smoothie also.

Oddly, he does not apper to be thinning much even in areas outside his belly. He is still drinking okay and urinating without problem

Unfortunately he needs to be admitted again. Was there an actual diagnosis from the blood work? This sounds like a case of feline pancreatitis; an inflammatory condition of the pancreas that results in anorexia, lethargy due to abdominal pain etc. It is harder to diagnose in cats then dogs. An anorexic cat is suceptible to develpoing a secondary case of fatty liver disease and when that happens a feeding tube needs to be placed.
