UNEXPECTED DEATH

I Had went to the store yesterday, and I was gone no longer than 20 minutes, I came home and found my 2 year old German Shepherd dead. Earlier that day he was fine, playful and nothing was wrong, there was no blood, no vomiting, or any signs that he had been hit by a car...It happened so quick , I dont know what happened...

This happened to me also yesterday with my Boston Terrier.  Although I did notice she had had red eyes and constipation.  Really think if he had any slight symptoms at all.  My dog did not have any bleeding, vomitting, or anything either.  I am sorry for your loss and I understand how it feels to have such an unexpected death and the feeling that you couldn't do anything.

I am so sorry for your sad loss!  What a horrible tragedy!

The only way that you can determine what went wrong is to have a post-mortem performed on your dog's body, in which the pathologist can find out if there was any anatomical problem, such as dilated cardiomyopathy, which could have caused a heart attack, and/or the pathologist could also perform blood work, such as a toxicology screen, checking for toxins, or poisons.

Good Luck, and let us know the findings!
