anorexic cat

Hello! hoping for some insight.My 11 yr old male cat came sick out of nowhere,weak,fatique,weight loss (anorexic) bony,refuses to eat,vomiting,and seems to be mentally declining,as if in a "brain fog".Two weeks ago I took him to the Emergency Animal Hospital after he forcefully vomitted bright and dark blood (happen once) they did blood test and a physical exam and thought possible stomach ulcer,was put on antibotics , ulcer meds& bland diet,no improvement,kizzy had a high white blood cell count, liver function test are low,mono high,neu high,hct  low,rdw high,plt high,& tp low.I noticed his decline rapidly in 3 weeks,vet there mentioned possble liver failure,could that come on so sudden,and maybe cancer?I was  also wondering about fatty liver disease.Because I'm recovering from surgery I cant afford treatments for him unless I thought this could be reversed.Prior to this he was very healthy,active,good appetite,and I'm having hard time of the thought of letting him go.Any opinions appreciated..Thank You!

Ty for your reply.Its really hard,this is my first time losing a pet.I have 2 other cats that are grieving and wont eat now,how can I help them? I been trying to comfort them but they are depressed.Thank you!

I am very saddened by your loss!  

I also wanted to apologize by not responding until now.  Somehow I did not see your question until today.  I don't have any idea how this could happen.

I am glad though,  that your vet found the mass in Kizzy's abdomen,  so that you know that you did the right thing by having him put to sleep.  

I also hope that you are recovering well from your surgery.

I put him down today,the vet felt organge size mass in his abdomen,thought it was intestinal cancer ): he isnt suffering anymore.

I'm going tomorrow and putting him sleep there is no improvement.He has lost bowel control now and cant move so its his time,I feel so selfish keeping him to see if he improved.I just cant afford finding out what it is and not knowing is hard.

I also like to add when I go to the fridge he cries,acts hungry and I think he is interested but as soon as I put food down for him he refuses,sometimes if I sit down with him ,and if I spoon it to him it works,but not always.What can I do? I cant stand seeing him this way ):
