dog drinks from commode

will my dog need medical attention if she drinks out of a commode that has human urine in it?

This is an extremely common occurrence.  The urine should not bother him because it is diluted with a lot of water.  Please keep the lid on the commode.  There is always some residue from feces in the toilet, even right after cleaning, and humans can transmit parasites to their pets via this route, such as Giardia.
