My recommendation would be to ask your vet to run blood urine and take abdominal x-rays to determined whether or not any other health issues are present causing your cat to continue vomiting. This is not normal at all.
If the tail looks like it is healing well, have your vet take a second look to be sure bacteria have not seeded the blood which can be very serious and lead to septicemia.
Be sure a blood viral panel has been done to rule out feline viruses that may or may not be present including feline leukemia, feline infectious peritonitis, feline immunodeficiency virus and toxoplasmosis.

Thank you for your advice, all blood tests were great but no xrays were taken, which I will request when I take Stubbie to the vet on Friday to get her stitchs out and I will ask for another blood test to check for infection. Again, Thank you.....
