Hello Dr.Santos,
Actually the finger that was painful the other day is okay. I mentioned that
my index finger was hurting on my left hand to my chiropractor during my
regular biweekly adjustment. She gave me an adjustment on the inside of
my elbow, she said it was connected to my index finger. After the adjustment, my index finger doesn't hurt any more. However, I do have
pain sometimes on several fingers of my right hand, not today though.
I am going to mention this to my family doctor the next time I see her.
Thank you for responding to my comments. It is appreciated. Eve :)
Hi Eve,
How are you? Which part of the finger is painful and does it affect both hands? Aside from the finger pain, what other symptoms are present? Finger pain is pain may be attributed to rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, injury, blood flow problems, nerve problems and even from conditions such as diabetes. Try to avoid activities that cause or worsen pain. Anti-inflammatory medication can also help. If it persists, it is best that you have this checked by your doctor for proper diagnosis. Additional diagnostic tests such as x-ray of the hand may be done. Take care and do keep us posted.
