I'm 37 and getting both hips replaced next month using the minimal evasive procrdure.Could you tell me how my recovery will differ from someone getting just one hip replaced. I can only find  information about just a single replacement..Thank you for your time

are you getting total hip replacements? that means the femur component & the acetabulum component? I didn't think they did those at the same time? I just had one done and could not imagine them both done together! You said it was minumally invasive. That makes me think it's not THR.To go in and saw off the femur head and insert the new parts requires full access. I have about a 7 in incision. Anyway, clarify your post. Good luck!

Honestly, I have not talked to anyone who had 2 hips replaced at once, but can see why you would be concerned about the differences it will present.  Have you posed this question to your doctor?  You might post this question in the ask-a-doctor forum on the right side of the forums page.
