Spotting

Alright i am little confused here. I got my AF on august 4th-7th, which was normal flow, but i have been spotting ever since then. not alot about a tampon a day. And its brown, which i know means "old blood". I have been tired alot lately. And i would really like someone to shine some light on why this could be, Why do i keep spotting??
Thank you

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

If your only symptom is spotting then you can wait to see what happens with your next period.  If you are having other symptoms such as abdominal pain, fever, pain during sex, then you should get checked out by your ob/gyn.   It is not uncommon to spot from time to time, but if this persists through your next cycle, then I think you should see your ob/gyn.  Also, if your are worried or concerned, there is no harm in calling your ob/gyn and letting them know what is going on.  They can let you know if you should come in to be seen or if you can wait this out.  I hope this helps.  Good luck.

If your pregnant you would not be spoting yet  it would be one week before your gonna get your period ,implantation bleeding, after you ovulate, Implantation of a fertilized egg normally takes place 6-12 days after ovulation..I have spot brown like that two after my period for a while and not been pregnant...
