Thanks for using the forum.

It is not uncommon to experience some spotting in early pregnancy. Often this bleeding is associated with the implantation of the embryo in the uterine wall. Some women experience spotting early in their pregnancy at the time their period would be due. This bleeding is caused by the hormone levels not being high enough to completely suppress their period. However, I always recommend speaking with your doctor if you are experiencing cramping or bleeding during your pregnancy. It is difficult to determine for yourself if the symptoms you are experiencing are something to be concerned about. Your doctor will be aware of your health and history. Using that information your doctor will be able to determine if you should be examined.

Congratulations on your pregnancy.
