I have several bumps and some are visable under my armpits they feel very uncomfertable and I was wondering what could they be they are not pimples and they heart

i have big knots on the top of my head they are very large, hard, and hurt very baddly what could they be?

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

If you shave your armpits, these bumps could be irritated hair follicles.  Also, there are a lot of lymph glands/nodes in your armpit area and they can swell and be sore if you have any kind of virus or infection- even just a bad cold or fever.  It is hard to tell without seeing them what it is that you have but if it is a hair follicle thing, then it usually resolves on it's own after a few a few warm showers.  Also, wear clothing that does not irritate the area- looser sleeves and cotton fabric.

If these bumps are indeed lymph nodes, then you can wait a few days to see if they go away on their own.  If they remain, you may want to have them checked out to be sure that they are nothing more than that.  Good Luck.
