Temperature higher than normal?

I had a baby about seven weeks ago. About a month before I had him, my temperature would go up during random times of the day. It would usually happen after I ate. I also have low blood sugar. The highest it has gone is 99.2, but my normal body temperature runs anywhere between 97.6 and 98.3. It's still happening, and lately it has started happening very often In the past week or so, it has happened every day. It happens every time I eat, especially. It also goes up if I'm up moving around a lot, such as cleaning, or if I sit outside when it's warm. I have no idea what's going on, and have no idea what could be causing this.

As tot he low blood sugar the best way to handle this is to avoid sugar and eat several small meals a day. If you suddenly need a snack, avoid starches and eat some protein. A friend of min with low blood sugar kept boiled shrimp in the refrigerator for snacks.

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

This is probably nothing to worry about.  Our body temperature will vary a bit during the day, especially during active times (like when you are cleaning).  Also, your body is probably still adjusting to the hormonal changes that take place post-partum.  I would give yourself some more time to adjust and if this is still bothering you bring it up at your post-partum doctor visit.   Good luck and congratulations on your new baby.
