Nervous Wreck!

I just found out that I'm 4 weeks pregnant yesterday. I'm worried about what I should and shouldn't be doing. This is baby #2 but it's been awhile. I don't get to see my doctor until may 2nd ; (
Is it OK to have sex?
Can I carry my 23lb child?
It kinda hurts to carry him but if it's okay to do then I have to.  Thanks!

Thanks for using the forum.

You should be OK to carry on with your normal activity level. Many women don't even know they are pregnant until they are 7 or 8 weeks along. Sex is considered safe throughout your entire pregnancy. If there is a medical reason to abstain, your doctor will inform you, but this usually occurs later in pregnancy. Carrying your son is most likely fine. If it is uncomfortable, try not to carry him for long periods of time if that is possible. Make sure that you are getting plenty of rest and drinking lots of water. Start your prenatal vitamin.

Congratulations!

Definitely start taking a prenatal. Test is ok to carry your child and have sex. Just watch out for any abnormal bleeding or cramping. Contact your obgyn if you have them. You should just listen to your body. If it is telling you to slow down, slow down. Take a break or a nap. Your body isworking really hard right now. Trust, me I know, I am almost 13 weeks pregnant with my second child as well. My obgyn told me to keep doing what I was doing before pregnancy because if I annoying to miscarry, it will be because it was going to happen, not because I made it happen. I am. Child care provider to a two yrs old and an eight month old. So far so good!
