Please Help! I can't fid what my sickness is, and what doctor should i go for!

Swollen or irritated throat? Everytime iM swallowing, i feel there's a lump feeling with mild pain.. i don't know what it is.. not just that.. i feel my joints are cracking everytime. my UTI won't heal with antibiotics.. What on Earth is my SICKNESS! I AM 20 years old diagnosed with Gastroesophagial Reflux Disease and UTI a few months ago. Now, these symptoms are coming out and i don't know which doctor should i go for?? PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS..


I feel like I'm DYING! I am HIV free after an NEG Test and what is going on with my body!!?? is this what gerd can do to your body??

Now I have Runny nose and Cough.. I cant do anything about this..

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.  I think you should start with a gastroenterologist for your GERD.  Your sore throat could be related to the GERD (it can cause irritation to your esophogus).  Has your UTI cleared up and come back or has it persisted over the few months?  You probably need to see a urologist as well- recurring or persistent UTI's can cause damage to the urethra and possibly your kidneys.  There are some things you can do to try to prevent UTI's- don't hold your urine- void when you feel the urge, always wipe from front to back, urinate after sex, avoid douching, and drink cranberry juice.   As far as the runny nose and cough (and watery eyes)- they sound like cold symptoms.  I hope this helps and that you start to feel better soon.  Good luck.
