Vaginal discharge

I have had this whitish discharge as long as I can remember, I'm pretty sure since I first started my period when I was 11, which was years ago. i know that anyones vagina does very lil discharge as a natural/normal cleansing. But this is not like that. This is like 24/7. It's nasty and very uncomfortable. Also some days it's heavier than other days and on some days it smells and other days it doesn't.It's like white and stringy, some days it's mostly clear and stringy. I just want it to go away :( I am a very healthy person and enjoys to exercise(which I do exercise all the time). Also, I am not sexually active.  But how do I get rid of this discharge?!?!? It's very uncomfortable and I am embarrassed to go to the drs for it. I am very clean. I wipe front to back, clean with unscented soap, I know douching is not good at all and I've never done, don't plan on doing it either.. Pleaseee try to help me!!!

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

What you described sounds like normal vaginal discharge.  Cervical mucus changes throughout your cycle from clear and wet, to whitish and stringy/sticky.  Some women experience more dischage than others.  It does not sound like yours is something to be worried about.  You could try wearing panty liners if the dischage is uncomfortable for you.  If you are very concerned then you can see your doctor- you don't need to feel embarassed about it.  I hope this helps.  Good luck.
