I found my daughter chewing gum from under a restaurant table...can she get sick?  Should I be worried?

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

Your question made me smile since 2 summers ago, my then 2 year old daughter, showed me gum that she was chewing that she got from the bottom of the slide at the park.  I could have cried!  I don't think that you have anything to really worry about.   Most likely she will not get sick.  Unfortunately, there is not much you can do about it now.  So, I would not worry too much.  For the rest of that summer, every time we went to the park, I warned my kids that they were not to eat ANYTHING from under the slide or any other playground equipment.  Take care,

I panicked too, but don't worry.  Kids are resilient.
