high pulse

My pulse has been between 100 and 130 with no physical exertion should I be worried and why would my pulse be so high. Normally it is in the mid 70s

There could be many possible reasons for your increased pulse rate.   Possiblities include dehydration, anxiety, a thyroid or hormonal issue, infection, fever and even an irregular heart beat.  Since it does not sound like this is a "one time" event that resolved on its own, it sounds like you need to see your doctor.  He or she can investigate what the cause is.  I hope this helps.  Good luck.

A lot of it could be emotional reasons when I am mad or upset my heart races like the Kentucky derby. Or stress can cause it. Try some meditation or relaxing time to your self release some of your energy

Sounds like an arrhythmia. You should have an EKG done by a physician to find out. Medications may be necessary to either control the rate or prevent complications.
