kidney stone won't pass

Hi. I am a 14 year old male. I found out I had a kidney stone via CT scan approximately 2 months ago. My doctor said it was relatively small. But my problem here is that it still has not passed, despite the fact I have been drinking lots of water. Should I go back to my doctor? Or is this normal?

Hi, i know my kidney stone has not passed yet because i am still having some symptoms. The symptoms are occasional back pain and mild side (flank) pain and mild burning urination.

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

How do you know that it has not passed?  Are you still having symptoms?  IF you are still feeling symptoms, then you should go back to your doctor.  If your symptoms are gone, but you never saw a stone, it could be that the stone broke up on its own or that it was too small for you to see it.  Continue to drink plenty of fluids as this can help you from developing more stones in the future and  let  me know.
