I recently got rid of BV (bacterial vaginosis). And me and my babys father have unprotected sex, and I dont know if I didnt wait long enough for the medicine to really work or if he's not takin care of his self good but the same symptoms from before has come back but the smell is worst. What could it be?

Bv can irritate the the skin down there so sex should be held off till redness and burning has completley subsided. I would call your doctor ,if it doesn't go away soon ,for more antibiotics but going without panties when possible at night or using a pad that is changed when discharge is present can help keep the bacteria growth down! Any excess moisture can harbor bacteria! Goodluck !

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

It is possible that the infection did not completely go away.  Go back to your doctor.  You may need further treatment or you may need to wait a little longer for the infection to clear up.  Good luck.
