Left out a word in the first sentence. My friend was only five feet tall.

A friend of mine who was feet toll and weighed 99 pounds got pregnant. She did not need maternity clothes until her seventh month. Her son was of normal size. I was five inches taller and 15 pounds heavier, and was miserable in normal clothing after just a few weeks. By the time I was six  months pregnant I looked to be on the verge of delivery. Go figure.

HI and thanks for using the forum.

One thing that you will learn about pregnancy as you go along is that all pregnancies are different.  There are women that show at 6 weeks and there are women that barely show at 6 months.  It all depends on your body , how many pregnancies you have had and genetics.   So, most women show around 3-5 months.  As long as your ob/gyn says that things are going well and that the baby is growing fine, then I would not worry about it.  Be sure to eat well, take prenatal vitamins, and stay active (if you are permitted by your doctor).  Good luck with your pregnancy!
