I was sent to the ER after taking Level 4 of the Methacholine challange

Since there are only 5 levels  in the methacholine challange, does it matter wich one you do worse in?

No...the level at which you react to methacholine does not generally correlate with severity of asthma

Sorry you had such a bad test.  I assume that your test was positive.  Sorry about that too, but it is better to know.  Now you can start treatment.

I don't think it matters what level you trigger at, it is a positive test if you trigger at any level.  If you make it through all 5 levels without triggering then it is a negative test.

I pray that you recover well.  Come back to ask any question you may have.
