polyps

does polyps in the nose make asthma worse?

hi im suppose to have another polyps surgery prettty soon. i hope they remove the rest of thrm. if yjry do msybe my headaches an asthma will improve.

Welcome to the asthma community!

Polyps in your nose/sinuses will block the flow of the mucous and this will in turn cause sinusitis (bacterial infections), which does irritate asthmatic airways. So if you are experiencing sinusitis I would certainly do something about the polyps.
