My husband has had the shaking in the middle of the night off  and on for about a year.  Has any one found out what this is caused by.  Could it be stress or low blood sugar.  Please reply if you have any answers.

Hello !  I have all kinds of thyroid diseases, you name it , I have it... Yes. when I am under stress, I wake up in the middle of the night shaking and  with heart palpitation. When anxiety and stress are not present at my life, I don't get any weird symptoms like this.
I wish  well for you and your husband

Hi ! I don't have any possible answers, but there is a sleep specialist who frequently posts blogs about sleep problems, including sleep apnea. You may want to consider posting in one of his blogs and see if you get a response.
