Autoimmune Disorder

When I started breaking out in hives, I thought it would go away. That was almost 5 months ago. My Primary Doctor sent me to an allergist. He diagnosed it as Autoimmune Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria.  He put me on a lose dose Cyclosporine.  I am not better. Plus, I have extreme heat flare ups, where I get extremely hot inside my body and it flow to the face, head and ears. It calms down in about 5 minutes (it's not a hot flash). Also, I feel like I am being gnawed at from the inside. It is a very strange feeling.  My Primary can't explain it, nor can the Allergist.  What am I going to do? Do you have any suggestions? I'm desperate. Could it be Stevens-Johnson Syndrome?

Yes, I have come across information regarding the adverse effects of Acetaminophen and NSAIDs.

If my memory serves me well, it may have to the with possible damage to
intestinal mucosa damage (ulceration) which may lead to allergic reactions,
and thus exasperating urticaria symptoms.

Also they would deplete your glutathione stores and render you more vulnerable to oxidative processes and consequently more illness(es).
Glutathione is the body's master anti-oxidant and also a great recycler.

Take care,
Niko

Thank you so much for your recommendation of EFT. I will check this out and have my massage therapist look at this, too. She has a fervency for Acupuncture, so I'm sure she would like EFT, too.  I will have my husband do this for me in the meantime. I will keep you posted.

I have taken all aspirin and NSAIDS out of my daily use, because I did read that they exacerbate CIU. Have you heard that?

Hi Shepherd47.

Autoimmune Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria.Hmm

I have a feeling that there's something substantial missing, however...
There are many possibilities, but in the absence of other relevant diagnosis
such as : Leaky gut syndrome/gut dysbiosis, GAPS, Underlying pathogenic infections like Mycoplasma/Babesia/Bartonella/Ehrichlia etc
(all of the above unfortunately are not within the scope of "established"
medical diagnosis) but most importantly as no other major symptoms are mentioned, this leads me to the following:

Urticarias in general are energy based conditions.
The immune system responds incorrectly to a particular code - in your case- according to your post- to an unidentified stimuli causing all those symptoms that you described.
To restore this you may need to get your energy field re-balanced.
Have you ever considered to seek out an Energy Medicine Therapist or Practitioner?
Just do a search though, for your area.

I do practice Energy Medicine in Canada -  various modalities including Allergy Elimination- and with very good results.
NAET is a very similar method of allergy elimination, so you may want to look up Doctors or Practitioners trained in NAET.

There's is a method used in Energy Medicine for efficient elimination
of adverse reactions, sensitivities and allergies, to substances and conditions, that may not be offensive to most people necessarily, yet the immune system -out of the blue, for unknown reasons, which do not matter
for your purposes at this time- treats them as offensive!

"Spinal Release Procedure"

Make sure you're well hydrated.
1. Connect mentally with your issue.
2. Get someone to tap- with light pressure,  not to hurt- on either side of spine, using knuckles ( using middle finger knuckles of fist ) about 1/2" - 1" left and right of the spine.
From C7 -bump on neck- all the way down to the tail bone.
While tapping fast on the back, on each up and down cycle , have the patient (you)
a) breathe in- holding breath
b) breath out - refrain from breathing
c) hyperventilate- fast shallow breathing
d) relaxed normal breathing
e) eyes circle clockwise(without moving your head)
f) eyes circle counterclockwise
g) close eyes
h) eyes closed, eyes circle clockwise
i) eyes closed, eyes circle counterclockwise
Note: Each action is one up and down cycle.

I usually repeat this procedure 2-3 times. And again the following few days  if needed.
Try to stay connected to your problem ( in your case it should be easy since your experiencing it at the present time)

Enhancement: To amplify its effectiveness, you may want to
a. download for free the EFT manual (Emotional Freedom Techniques) learn how to do the tapping. It works a bit like acupuncture. It's easy to learn and to apply at the basic level.
b. Once you practice a bit, then you can do the tapping from the front, while your partner is doing the Spinal Release on your back.
I suggest that you print the instructions and keep them handy for the application.

The results of this would be commensurate to the absence of serious other imbalances, as I mentioned in the beginning of my reply

Hope this helps, however, do your own research or check with your Health Care Professional, before making any decisions regarding your health.
This is not intended to replace medical advice.

Should you have any questions please post again or message me directly.

Best wishes
Niko

PS.
One more thing needed to be ruled out is Thyroid and Adrenal dysregulation
(usually low thyroid and/or low adrenal function). Not by conventional
endocrinologists, as subclinical levels of adrenal or thyroid function - substantial enough though to cause serious health implications-are totally disregarded, until a crisis situation develops.
If you have gone through any conventional serum testing for Thyroid or Adrenal levels, your results may be inaccurate regarding CELLULAR function, rendering you misdiagnosed and without proper treatment.
Let me know if this is the case, as you may have been suffering many adverse symptoms, unnecessarily!
