I thought I was rid of a problem, after 8 years has gone by, seems like it is back. After delivering my 2nd child 9 years ago, I began to have slowly progressing bizarre symptoms, over the course of 18 months. They gradually became worse, and made normal life almost impossible at the time. Back then my symptoms were shortness of breath, memory issues and confusion, severe weight loss, reynaud's syndrome, orthostatic hypotension and just general hypotension eventually, and other random things. I eventually was hospitalized and seen by so many different specialists. At that time I had a positive ANA, but I don't remember anything else about my bloodwork, and they never could come to a conclusion about what was wrong. They sent me away with a corticosteroid, and I eventually got better. All symptoms went away within 6 months, even the Reynaud's. Fast forward, to me thinking whatever that was, was just an anomaly and I was rid of it. A year ago I started having severe back and neck pain, stiffness, etc. Went to GP and just had lots of xrays, etc. with no real reason for the pain and stiffness. He ordered blood tests, the only abnormal result this time was my T3 was low (61), to which he told me was a non issue and not to concern myself with that because the rest of my bloodwork was good. Over the last year the stiffness has increased, making it impossible to sleep, turn my head, etc. and 2 weeks ago, the Reynaud's returned. I have severe constipation (7 days without sometimes), although this never went away from the issues years ago. Since then, everything has been like lighting, random symptoms coming out of the woodwork again, but mostly different than the ones before. My eyes are dry, swollen, achy when I look around, hands and feet are frozen all the time, tingling and numbness in my left arm. I get muscle weakness from little things like tying my hair in a pony tail. Fatigue starting to come back. I'm noticing issues with memory again, like names, passwords, things I was supposed to do but can't remember what. I went back to the doctor 2 days ago, told him what was going on, he sent me for labs (they aren't back yet), and he referred me to a Neurologist and Ophthalmologist.
Does this ring a bell, anyone have any ideas as to possible reasons? How can this be the same thing from 8 years ago, when I've had almost no reoccurrence until now-ish?
